Yin Yoga Immersion is a 40-hour teacher training offering an in-depth study of Yin Yoga principles, functional anatomy, mindfulness, and teaching methodology. Designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners, this training emphasizes skillful cueing, safe sequencing, and holding space for stillness, sensation, and long-held postures, integrating both anatomical and energetic perspectives.
Why Attend?
Deepen Your Personal Practice
Yin Yoga invites you into stillness, sensation, and self-inquiry. This training offers the time and structure to slow down, listen deeply to your body, and cultivate patience, resilience, and mindfulness—on and off the mat
Learn the Why Behind the Poses
Go beyond memorizing shapes. You will learn functional anatomy, skeletal variation, and tissue targeting so you can understand why poses are practiced, how they work, and how to adapt them safely for every body.
Teach Yin Yoga with Confidence and Integrity
Whether you are new to teaching Yin or refining your skills, this training equips you with clear sequencing principles, skillful language, and trauma-aware teaching tools so you can confidently lead grounded, inclusive Yin classes.
Expand Your Teaching Skill Set
Yin Yoga complements Vinyasa, Hatha, Power, and other Yang-based practices. Adding Yin to your offerings allows you to better support nervous system regulation, recovery, and balance for your students.
What to expect:
A Balance of Theory and Practice
This training weaves together discussion, experiential practice, anatomy labs, and reflection. You can expect to feel the practice in your own body while learning how to teach it skillfully to others.
Functional Anatomy Made Accessible
Anatomy is taught in a practical, Yin-specific way—focused on joints, connective tissue, and skeletal variation rather than memorization. Expect hands-on exploration, self-inquiry, and clear real-world application.
Posture Labs and Prop Exploration
You will break down key Yin postures in detail, exploring variations, contraindications, and intelligent use of props. This includes learning how to adapt poses for different bodies and needs.
Teaching Practice and Feedback
The training includes guided opportunities to practice teaching—both short segments and full classes—in a supportive environment. Constructive feedback helps refine your confidence, language, and presence.
Energetic and Philosophical Context
TCM concepts, Yin–Yang theory, and mindful awareness are introduced as optional lenses—not rigid rules—allowing you to integrate them in ways that feel authentic to you.
A Supportive Learning Community
This training encourages connection, discussion, and shared inquiry. Expect a collaborative atmosphere where questions, curiosity, and individual perspectives are valued.
Integration Beyond the Mat
You will leave with practical tools—sequencing templates, teaching language, and self-practice insights—that support both your teaching and your everyday life.
